State License
Soldiers are entitled to a free state "Super Combo" License with proof of 6 months Texas residency.
Service record indicating that Texas is the home of record or, that the person’s duty station for the six months immediately prior to the time of application was in Texas.
Permits
Ft. Hood hunting permit required. Must check in harvests at game check station kiosk. Must use Huntrac to make reservations. If you don't have a permit Sportsmen's Center will be open Thursday & Friday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. starting April 9th
