- Competition is open to all DOD cardholders- Soldiers, dependents, civilians, etc. in good health.
- All participants must sign in on official challenge documentation, acknowledge “hold harmless” with signature and confirm information in RecTrac
- Participants must log numerical data with MWR gym staff on official competition documentation for each month’s challenge
- Each challenge will be “scored” with domains such as time, number of meters, repetitions, etc.
- Participant must provide evidence of “score” (numerical data) via APP, photo or in person to MWR employee overseeing sign in
- CHALLENGE:
Row as many meters as possible in 20 minutes - SCORE:
Number of meters rowed - EQUIPMENT:
Rower with Digital Screen - Adjust Rower to accommodate participant. Straps should go over the balls of your feet
- A “10” setting allows the most airflow and therefore the highest resistance. A “1” permits little airflow and minimizes resistance. 4-7 would be ideal for this competition
- Think “Legs, Body, Arms” for the drive and “Arms, Body, Legs” for the catch
- Participants can use equipment or “compete” at a MWR facility or elsewhere- including a home gym, outside, etc. IF the participant has competed in an alternate location, they MUST provide proof via APP or photo of their score.
- Participants CAN compete more than once to obtain a better score
- Score sheets will be collected at the end of each month and kept for record
- More information to come regarding recognitions and a possible larger scale competition…
- Contact the Fitness Program Specialist for additional ionformation.
