What is the process for drop off?

If you are running late for your reserved time, please give the CDC a courtesy call to inform them. If you have not arrived after 15 minutes of the reservation start time, the CDC will assume you are a no show and the slot may be reserved for another patron.

At the start of your scheduled reservation time,

  1. Check in at the front desk with an Administrative Support Assistant
  2. The Administrative Support Assistant will then give you your child's classroom assignment
  3. Sign your child into the classroom and ensure you leave all required items (diapers/wipes, bottles, medication, change of clothes) in the classroom

*Special note if you are using volunteer hours:
If you are running late from a volunteer commitment, it is the parent's responsibility to pay for the difference between the scheduled volunteer hours and the actual hours of child care used.

What is the process for pick up?

At time of pick up,

  1. Check in at the front desk with an Administrative Support Assistant
  2. Swipe your child's key fob
  3. Make payment (we accept cash, check, money order, VISA, MasterCard, AAFES Military STAR Card, American Express) or present your volunteer card
  4. If asked, show your identification
  5. You will then receive a pass to take to the classroom indicating to staff that you have completed the checkout process at the front desk
  6. Sign your child out of the classroom according to the clock in the classroom and not the reservation end time
  7. Don't forget to collect all of your belongings
  8. And last, but certainly not least, have a great day!

What if I'm running late to pick up my child?

We all understand that situations such as these are unavoidable at times. In the event you are faced with this type of situation, please give the CDC a courtesy call to request an extension on the reservation. The reservation can be extended on a space available basis. If space is not available, please call one of your emergency release designees to pick up your child prior to the end of the reservation time. This ensures that the child care rooms are not over capacity and the CDC can continue to provide safe, quality child care.
